Hey, so- I'm back! If anybody remembers seeing a little fluffy pink dragon, that was me. Sorry if I caused any trouble, and thanks to everyone who helped me out. I owe you big time! I don't think I got everyone's names, though, so... feel like introducing yourselves? And Haruki, am I still allowed in the Brigade or what?

...Where's Shuri, anyway? Did he go home?

Yeah! He grants the wishes of people as they live their lives, and when all of their wishes are granted, they return to be with him in heaven. It's a really peaceful way of living.

It actually sounds idyllic. Does he grant all wishes?

It's a little tricky. Before humans are born, they're brought to the Chief of Heaven and allowed to make three wishes. Then they're born without the memories of those wishes, but they act as that person's life goals. When their last wish is granted, they die and are called back to heaven to start life all over again.

So, it's a constant cycle of rebirth? Are they not granted a final resting place?

I don't know if it's endless... I do know that humans with pure souls get to request what they come back has.

The Chief of Heaven is very loving. I think my world is lucky to have that kind of guardian.

It does. Though we have someone similar in my world, but he's not my god.

Not really. You have the right to believe in what you what. To be honest, I'm not sure if every god on our world truly exists.

That's pretty neat, actually. Though I don't know if I would like that kind of uncertainty.

I agree. I have faith because I know for a fact that my gods exist. But to keep believing without concrete proof? I do not know what I would do in that situation.

Maybe that's what makes the people who believe in those gods even more faithful.
