[So with Teito gone and Shuri being all /brb not talking to you, Mikage has been kind of lonely as of late, though in typical Mikage fashion, he's doing his best to keep it under wraps. No point in making everyone around him just as miserable, right? Right. So to get himself out and about, he's chilling out at the fountain in the plaza, doodling pictures in his journal. He's not exactly an artist, but he'll be making decently shaped little caricatures of anyone who wanders by the fountain and trying to strike up a conversation if they don't rocket past him or ignore him or something. Go go socializing power!]

I can't promise you won't think I'm crazy too, but I don't think I'm too bad.

That's good news. [Setting aside the book now.] Swords are pretty popular, so... you want to try that, or something else?

[He gives his chin a stroke and grins.]

Definitely go with the swords. Ladies love the old fashioned, swashbuckling hero, right?

I think so. Though the heroes from my world use scythes.

[bamfing]

Scythes, really? I always thought that was more of a "Death" kind of thing.

[fyulong]

Well, it sort of makes sense. They were created by the Chief of Heaven to stop Verloren, the God of Death.

[bamfing]

[Blink blink.] Chief of Heaven?

[fyulong]

Yes, the god of the world I'm from. He rules over the souls of the the earth, sending them down to live their lives until their three wishes are granted, and he calls them home to him.

[bamfing]

[... okaaaaay. Your world is weird.]

Three wishes, huh? What were yours? [He's assuming you have them.]

[fyulong]

I don't really know. I won't find out until they're granted and I meet the Chief of Heaven- after the souls make their wishes, they forget them so they can be born pure. At least, I think that's why.

[bamfing]

[That's really, well, huh.]

So what kind of sword do you use?

[fyulong]

[THAT'S RELIGION FOR YA.]

I don't really know any different types. The swords on my world are strong enough to enhance zaiphon power, though, so they'd be different from anything I could find here.

[bamfing]

Zaiphon power? What's that?

[fyulong]

Oh, it's- it's like life energy, made into real power. [He lifts a hand, a circlet of blue lettering appearing around it.] Like this.

[bamfing]

[Oh, he blinks at that, but he's not terribly surprised. Mutant powers are very flashy.]

Thanks! [Goodbye, zaiphon! He doesn't have anything to blow up right now. He'd probably be surprised by Kurt's lack of it, but the guy teleports all over, so.] We could probably find a sword that suits you in the weapon shop sometime.

Oh, I think I already know the perfect kind. The rapier! Very cool.

Rapier? I don't think I know that one.

[bamfing]

What, really? Well maybe the people at the smithy would know... [They can just go ask SOKKA or EDWARD.]

[Yet another Thread that Never Was.] That's probably the best place to start, yep. I haven't actually gone there yet.

I haven't had a reason to, myself. Besides, who knows what kind of people work there. Probably violent thugs, right?

Ah, well, that's usually what people are like at weapon shops in my world... In the movies, at least...
