[It hasn't been near as long for Mikage, but like hell if he isn't hugging back just as tightly. The last thing he can remember is that he'd been about to try and kill Teito, after all.]

[It's tempting to tease, it really is, because that's just what Mikage does when he's with Teito. But there's something about the embrace that bothers him, a level of desperation they don't often experience. He knows he's missed something, and from what he's read in the guide, there's no telling what Teito's been through. ...And probably without him. So he keeps holding on, giving Teito all the time he needs. And Teito should full well know that it's okay to cry with him.]
