It was kind of scary at first, yeah. I've never seen anyone like that before. But he's a nice guy, so I couldn't hold it against him!

I can't really think of why anybody would be scared of someone who helped them.

I guess so. It must be hard for him then, if people won't talk to him because of his looks.

Unfortunately there are many who judge by appearance alone. However, it seems like he has made quite a few friends here so you needn't worry too much, Mikage.

I'm very grateful that Teito has a good friend like you. You'll be able to help keep him away from the darkness, I'm sure.
