[Good morning, Luceti. There's a little pink fluffball scampering around town today, looking like he's searching very urgently for something- or someone. This little guy - better known to some as a fyulong dragon - is carrying around a human-sized journal with the name "Mikage" scrawled across the front. It's quite the task to carry around a book that's about the same size as you are, so he'll be seeking people out, whether they be a friend or a stranger, to perhaps get some help with it.

He might not stay with anyone for very long, mind you- he has a certain place to be. But don't be surprised if he comes right up to you, nudging the journal urgently, and-]

Surprise, Mikage's back! And as a dragon. This is a preemptive Malnosso effect; Mikage has his memories, but because of his situation they're a little jumbled, so he'll recognize faces without having many clear memories or the ability to speak.

It's temporary, though, so Mikage will be making his real return in the future o7]

[Pet... how depressing. But he can't really deny it, either, and not just because he can't even talk right now. A lack of communication isn't the same as a lack of understanding, and even with the memories he does have, it isn't doing him much good besides putting a name to the occasional face and guiding his instincts on where to go. Now that he's with Haruhi, his instincts are creating in his mind images of the Brigade building, of the other members, of fun and laughter and rules and penalties. If he were to go home and see Shuri it would be a very different experience to describe.

Truth be told he really couldn't describe it even if he could talk. There aren't words for this.]

[Still petting, she considers how she wants to put this. Or maybe if she wants to go pull him away somewhere]

[She still seems nervous, and he can feel it in her hand- or, perhaps, it's some animal instinct that's helping him to sense it. Man, this would be a useful skill for a human, wouldn't it?

With a quiet trill, he draws away from her petting, eyes lifting to watch her curiously. Would she be happier if he left? The last thing he wants to do is make anyone uncomfortable, though at this point it's probably inevitable...]

[...Oh he's looking at her? Force a smile! Yeah, let's do that!]

[...Oh, that's just depressing. He should be happier to see her smiling, he knows, but... he doesn't want her to force herself. It's just not right.

Ears lowering, he backs up a little to fetch his journal again. He should really just leave her be.]

[Okay ngl she is extremely uncomfortable and actually thankful he starts to go away. But at the same time she feels bad for feeling like that. Uuuugh]

H-hey, where are you going?

[fyulong]

Burupya! [Leaving you, what does it look like? He does pause and glance back over his shoulder, though, flicking an ear. Does she want him to stay, or should he keep going?]

...You've probably got other people to see, right? [That's justified] Go on then.

[fyulong]

[Mikage blinks, cocking his head to one side. Then he almost seems to smile at her.

Sorry, Haruhi. He can't really do anything about this. But... he's glad you're still here.

With that, he faces forward again and scampers off. It was good to see her, so he has no regrets.]
