[So with Teito gone and Shuri being all /brb not talking to you, Mikage has been kind of lonely as of late, though in typical Mikage fashion, he's doing his best to keep it under wraps. No point in making everyone around him just as miserable, right? Right. So to get himself out and about, he's chilling out at the fountain in the plaza, doodling pictures in his journal. He's not exactly an artist, but he'll be making decently shaped little caricatures of anyone who wanders by the fountain and trying to strike up a conversation if they don't rocket past him or ignore him or something. Go go socializing power!]

[COUGH COUGH COUGH KURT WHY DO YOU- ooh, pencils. Mikage takes them with a chipper and genuinely grateful smile.] That's perfect! Thanks, Kurt. Now you can be blue!

[bamfing]

You mean my hair can be blue. [... because obviously nothing else would be blue. Jeez Mikage, what are you talking about?]

[You get a weird look for that, Kurt.] Well, I could colour the rest of you blue if you want me to, but I don't think anyone would recognize you then.

[bamfing]

[A nervous laugh.] Right, they'd think I was some other person!

[...Kurt is officially kind of weird in Mikage's book, but okay. :|] Right. [Scribble scribble, and Kurt officially has blue hair now! And possibly a blue ear, but that was due to hasty scribbling.]

Great! Looks like this was a pretty good idea. [Now he can give Kurt some attention.] So what are you up to today?

[bamfing]

Not much. [He reaches inside a pocket and pulls out one of those flyers for that fight school.]

I thought about signing up for this, but... well, one of the people running it is kind of crazy.

[fyulong]

Really? Which one? I don't think I've met either of them.

[bamfing]

Buffy. She's not so bad on her TV show, but in real life... I think all that vampire slaying made her a little crazy in the head, you know? I met her at Good Spirits and... let's just say I won't be going back any time soon.

[fyulong]

She seems nice enough. You sure it wasn't some experiment?

[bamfing]

Pretty sure, unless there was another one besides that teleporting experiment last month.

[fyulong]

I think everybody goes a little crazy when they've been here long enough. It doesn't make people dangerous, just means they might have a few more ghosts than most.

[bamfing]

Yeah, maybe. Still, better not to take my chances. [If she's this rude to him like this, who knows what she'd be like if she saw him looking like a demon...]

You know she's not the only teacher, right? There's a whole bunch of them. Once you have a teacher you don't have to have much to do with the school at all.

[bamfing]

Yeah, maybe that;s true. I just don't what I'd learn. I've never really fought with a weapon before.

[fyulong]

Oh, it's not that hard! I learned to use guns and swords back on my world, and it just takes practice.

[bamfing]

I really don't know much more than the basics. [... lies. But still, he relies more on teleporting than actually landing blows. In a fight, he really only runs interference...]

If you just want someone to teach you, I could try.
