I don't think it's creepy! But we definitely don't have anyone like that where I'm from.

I'm glad you don't, I don't like to make people uncomfortable due what I am. I was made to sing and make people happy, not to crrep them out.

Are people usually bothered by machines that can talk? [He can't really fathom that; it's weird, but not bad, and since he loves ships and the like, being able to talk to one is beyond cool.]

Generally the people I deal with aren't, but then again they hire me so it's natural that they won't have problems with me. However there are some people who are at least a bit unnerved by the idea of a machine that looks human. And for people who are unfamiliar with the idea I would suppose it's normal to, at least, be a bit creeped out.

But hey! Maybe you can win them over by singing them a song?

Some of the people back home who dislike the idea of me as an android are also against my singing so that wouldn't work. It doesn't matter though, there are many others who do like me. And here people I've yet to find someone who is entirely uncomfortable with me.
